PwC India opens new office in Gurugram, sixth in NCR

In a significant move that underscores its commitment to growth and client service, professional services giant PwC India has opened a new office in Gurugram, a bustling hub of business and technology in the National Capital Region (NCR). This strategic expansion marks the firm’s sixth office in the Delhi-NCR area, a clear indication of its deepening roots and expanding influence in the region.

The new office, located in the state-of-the-art ‘DLF Downtown 4’, is more than just a physical space; it’s a testament to PwC’s vision for the future. Spanning an impressive 1.25 lakh square feet, this modern facility is designed to accommodate over 1,200 employees, bringing PwC’s total workforce capacity in the Delhi-NCR to a remarkable 8,000 professionals. This expansion is not merely about numbers; it’s about creating a vibrant and collaborative environment where talent can thrive and innovation can flourish.

Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson of PwC in India, articulated the significance of this milestone, stating that the new office reflects the sustained demand for their services and the unwavering trust of their clients. It’s a move that speaks volumes about PwC’s confidence in the Indian market and its dedication to being at the forefront of the country’s economic growth story.

This expansion is not an isolated event but part of a broader growth strategy for PwC India. The firm has ambitious plans to further strengthen its presence in key markets, with two new offices slated to open in Mumbai later this year. This proactive approach to expansion ensures that PwC is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of its clients and to attract and retain top talent in a competitive landscape.

The opening of the new Gurugram office is a powerful statement from PwC India. It’s a story of growth, of commitment, and of a firm that is not just keeping pace with change but actively shaping the future of professional services in India. It will be exciting to see how this new chapter unfolds and what it means for PwC, its clients, and the broader business community.
